Vanya Sanderson

My name is Vanya Sanderson and I am a Personal Advisor in the Refugee and Asylum Seeker Team, prior to this I worked in the Leaving Care Team. I have been a Personal Advisor or PA as we are known as for around 4 years.

I have worked in Children and Family Services for over the last 23 years in various roles. I have a passion to support and advocate for children and young people, who’s voices are often not heard. It is a privilege to know our young people and be a part of their lives.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, taking breaks in the Yorkshire Dales, cooking, and getting my nails done!
